Marketing Main Event 3 - An alternative!
There is a lot of buzz going on at the moment about Marketing Main Event 3, and as someone who bought Marketing Main Event 1 almost 2 years ago, I would just like to make few suggestions that will hopefully help you make a decision on whether to buy or not.
——————————————————————————————
A sidenote first though.
Firstly, I haven’t seen inside Marketing Main Event 3, I have only read the sales page. Having bought Marketing Main Event 1 (about 2 years ago now) I know that Simon and Jeremy turn out quality products, so what I am about to say is in no way a slur on them or their products.
——————————————————————————————
The main product of Marketing Main Event 3 is CMS Infusion, a Content Management System with a whole host of features and plug-ins that make it extremely easy to create and maintain a website or number of websites without knowing or having to write a sinlge line of code.
This product does look great and they are also offering a whole host of modules for you to manage pretty much every aspect of and online business website without the need to know any technical stuff at all.
Also with MME3 you would get a ton of digital products, passes to paid membership sites and these are not to be sniffed at either.
But not only will the package cost you $997 up front, it will also cost an extra $47 for each license should you want to create more than 10 websites using this CMS and after the end of year one $97 per year to have their continued support.
Ok, so whats the alternative. Well as far as the CMS is concerned, take a look at Joomla. Joomla is a full-featured open source CMS. Open source means that it is FREE. Not only that, but it is one of the best supported CMS’s around, with a huge amount of free plug-ins that you could easily add (without any technical knowledge) and a support forum that is full of experienced users who are happy to help others out with problems, and again it’s free.
Also, you can use Joomla on as many sites as you like and for as long as you like without having to pay for support or licenses after a year. And, Joomla is constantly being updated and each update is released free too.
Now if Marketing Main Event 3 were based on CMS Infusion alone, I would recommend that you do not go that route, go the Joomla with plug-ins route. However, you may be basing a buying decision on all of the other products as well.
As I said, I bought Marketing Main Event 1, and was thoroughly impressed by the products within it, I even made a small profit from the Resale Rights to some products. I have also been thoroughly impressed with both Simon and Jeremy and their abilities to create quality products.
But I would also add that you should only buy if you KNOW that
a) you will learn from the products yourself
b) that you will profit from the Resale Rights that come with them
Treat a buying decision like this as an investment, consider your options, and only buy when you are pretty damn sure that you can recoup that investment.
I hope this helps you make the right descion for you.
All the best
